Who We Are

Megan Doherty
Director and Principle Occupational Therapist
Meg graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours). She has worked in a variety of settings, working closely with clients and their families to achieve their goals. Being an Occupational Therapist has allowed her to help people achieve their best, and build rapport with so many families.
Meg started this practice with the hope to continue to put clients first, and to help in any way her team can.
If Meg is not with her clients, you'll find her spending time with her family, doing something crafty, playing with her dog, camping or watching Netflix.

Tyneele Armstrong
Occupational Therapist and Clinical Lead
Tyneele graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and Graduate Certificate of Autism Studies Master of Autism Studies. Tyneele enjoys working with a variety of clients and families, working with children to help them to be the best version of themself that they want to be.
She has a special interest in autism, sensory processing, yoga for children, emotion and self-regulation, and school-based skills.
Tyneele likes to spend her free time with her family and friends, playing with her two dogs, hiking, doing pilates, reading and napping.


Jacqui Petselas
Occupational Therapist
Jacqui graduated with a bachelor of Occupational Therapy from Southern Cross University. She has worked with clients across the lifespan, but has a passion for empowering children and their families to achieve their goals. She has a special interest in feeding, sensory processing and school readiness.
In her spare time, Jacqui enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing with her dog, keeping active and going to the beach.
Maisha Kabir
Speech Pathologist
Maisha graduated with her Masters in Speech Pathology from Griffith University. Since then, she has worked with children and their families to support them through all areas of their development. She has a particular interest in literacy and feeding as well as supporting bilingual language development as Maisha is also bilingual.
When not at work, Maisha loves learning new skills. These hobbies include crocheting, cross stitching or diamond painting. When not working, Maisha can always be found making things.


Courtney Bilsborough
Speech Pathologist
Courtney graduated with her Masters in Speech Pathology from Griffith University.
Courtney has worked with children and their families from a variety of backgrounds and always ensures their individual situations are considered in therapy and recommendations. Her approach is engaging and tailored to support interests and learning. She has a special interest in early language development, articulation/phonology and supporting all communication styles.
In her spare time, Courtney enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the movies, cooking, and anything crafty.
Tammie Eggerling
Operations Manager
Tammie has been working in the medical and allied health industry for over 25 years. She has enjoyed working in this industry and enjoys working with people and their families and finds it rewarding watching her team help others achieve their goals.
When Tammie is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their 5 children between them. She enjoys Glamping in their caravan, boating and jet skiing and to keep active by going to the gym or loves to go for a walk.


Astro
Therapy Dog-in-Training
Astro is our Therapy Dog-in-Training and one of the most enthusiastic members of the Eli's Place team. His important job is helping children feel comfortable, brave and ready to learn during therapy sessions. Astro loves joining in games, getting treats and pats, and offering a calm furry cuddle when things feel a bit tricky. While he's still learning all the special skills needed to be a therapy dog, he's already very talented at spreading smiles wherever he goes.
In his spare time, Astro loves taking naps, chewing holes in cardboard and shoes, and just generally being cute.
